Purchase Tickets for Taste of Lilburn
Purchase your tickets now for the Fourth Annual Taste of Lilburn to be held on Saturday, April 22, 1:00-4:00 pm in the Nash Pavilion at Lilburn City Park. Participating eateries are: 1910 Public House,Matthews Cafeteria, Taqueria Los Hermanos, The Barn Smokehouse and Seafood, Izzy’s NY Pizza, Taste of Paradise (Jamaican), Tipsy Pig BBQ, Hardee’s, Marco’s Pizza and Berkmar Culinary Arts. Fair Oaks Band featuring the Nicks Brothers will once again amaze us with their endless repertoir of our favorites. Advance online ticket holders will be VIPS for the event and will be admitted to the event at 12:30 pm. Tickets will be sold at the event as long as food samples last. Lilburn Relay Rally Friday, April 21
The Lilburn Relay Rally in Lilburn Park on April 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. will be the best ever with your help. Sponsored by the Lilburn Woman’s Club, this event is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society’s Gwinnett Relay for Life.
Form a Team, be a sponsor, be a supporter! Come meet with us and help us Paint our Town Purple!!
Participant registration for the event is free. Survivors will be honored at a reception at 5pm at 1910 Public House event room. Come to Lilburn City Park and join in the fun! There will be food, games, music, prizes and more!

Plant Sale, Sat. April 22
Gwinnett County Master Gardeners have a plant sale in the Library/City Hall Complex parking lot on Saturday, April 22, from 8 am until 2 pm. Members will be on hand to help you with your plant selection. We’re offering perennials, vegetables, herbs, natives, shrubs and annuals as well as attractive garden art. Celebrate Earth Day with a green addition to your own yard. 4817 Church St. NW, Lilburn.
Recycling and Clean-up Sat. April 22
The City of Lilburn continues its annual tradition of helping residents recycle their unwanted items. The Great American Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The following items will be accepted at the event:
•Free electronics recycling with the exception of TVs & CRT monitors. There is a $15 cash fee per TV or CRT monitor which E Recycle USA will collect at the event.
•Bulk trash (limited space)
•Cell phones
•Scrap metal
•Free secure paper shredding (limit of 10 standard size boxes per person)
